The Trade Remedies Authority of Việt Nam has announced that the US Department of Commerce recently initiated an administrative review of the anti-dumping duty order on Vietnamese oil country tubular goods (OCTG).
Canada may levy an anti-dumping (AD) tax of 28.6 per cent and a
countervailing duty (CVD) of 19 per cent on oil country tubular goods
(OCTG) produced in Viet Nam.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has initiated a
preliminary investigation on anti-dumping and anti-subsidy tariffs on
certain oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from several countries,
including Viet Nam.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on July 21 announced the start
of anti-dumping investigation of oil country tubular goods imported from
nine countries and territories.
The US Department of Commerce (DOC) will levy anti-dumping duties on oil
country tubular goods (OCTG) imported from Viet Nam, said the Viet Nam
Competition Authority.
The Vietnam Competition Management Department reported on July 7 that
the US will levy anti-dumping duty on welded stainless pressure pipes
imported from Viet Nam, Malaysia and Thailand this year.
The United States International Trade Commission has determined
that there is a reasonable indication that US industry is materially
injured by reason of imports of certain oil country tubular goods from Viet Nam and some other countries.
